Making mDings and comments more fun :)

Hi Guys,

Today we released a nice little feature which should make receiving mDings and comments more fun. Till now whenever you received an mDing, or a comment on your SmartLists, mGreetings or News posts, we use to send you an email informing the same. However, moving forward these emails will also include the complete mDing or comment you have received :)

So just by looking at the email you can see what mDing or comment you have received. You don’t need to come to Dhingana.com , just to check what mDing or comment you have received. Hope this saves you some time. Have fun!

Cheers,

Dhingana Team.

How to become a famous SmartList owner?

Do you love to compile songs and create your own SmartLists? Even better do you like to make your SmartLists public and share them with the musical community on Dhingana? If so, here are a few steps you can follow to make sure your SmartList is loved by everyone in the community.

  1. Give a very relevant and good name to your SmartList so that users know what songs they can expect to hear from your SmartList.
  2. Add a good number of songs to your SmartList which go well with the SmartList name.
  3. Always add a nice and meaningful photo and description to your SmartLists. HINT: Only SmartLists with ‘photos’ appear on the home page.
  4. Once you have created your SmartList, use the “share” button on the SmartList page and share it with your friends. You can also mDing your friends and tell them about your new SmartList.
  5. Always keep and eye on & reply back to any comments you might get on your SmartList.

Hope this helps!

Happy Maha Shivratri

Maha Shivratri or Maha Sivaratri or Shivaratri or Sivaratri (Night of Shiva) is a Hindu festival celebrated every year on the 13th night/14th day in the Krishna Paksha of the month Maagha (as per Shalivahana) or Phalguna (as per Vikrama) in the Hindu Calendar. The most significant practices on this day are offerings of Bael (Bilva) leaves to the Lord Shiva, fasting and all night long vigil. In North India and Nepal many people consume bhang lassi, which they believe is lord Shiva’s favorite drink. (more here).

To celebrate this great day, one of our “Famous SmartList Owners“, Shraddha Pandey, has created a great SmartList called “On the Occassion of MahaShivratri“. She has also created a really good Public mGreeting called Happy MahaShivratri.

Check it out and if you like it, give it a thumbs up and don’t forget to send a nice mDing to Shraddha Pandey on her profile.

Have a great musical Maha Shivratri..
