Personalize your 360Widget

360Widget has been out for a while now and we have seen some amazing response to it. More and more people are adding it to their blogs or sites and making them musical…

Till now it was only possible to add the 360Widget in ‘My SmartLists’ mode or non-SmartLists mode (i.e Top 10 mode by default). Read our previous post here.

Now we have gone 1 step ahead and added a nice feature, where our users can personalize all the modes and categories for their 360Widget.

Personalize 360Widget

You will now have a choise to explicitly chose the mode from ‘My SmartLists’, ‘Top 10′ or ‘Random’.

Once you chose the mode, you can go ahead and chose the category for that mode (only applies to Top 10 and Random modes).

So you can now add 360Widget in ‘Random‘ mode with ‘Pop‘ as the default category (as we added it to our blog to the right) OR

you can now add 360Widget in ‘Top 10′ mode with ‘Oldies’ as the default category and so on…

So.. go ahead … and grab a ‘more personalized‘ 360Widget for your site or blog. As always, we will be more then happy to hear a feedback from you.

Cheers,

Dhingana Team.

TechTalk with iLeher.com

A while ago, when we were heavily beta testing our new 360Widget, we had a nice talk with Madhur from iLeher.com. If you haven’t heard of iLeher before, here is what their about page says:

Leher in Hindi means “wave”. iLeher is a guide to catch that high rising wave of Internet in India. Through analysis of news and events, case studies, comparisons of features, guest commentary and interviews with key players, readers will gain an in depth understanding of Internet industry in India, an industry buzzing with activity.

iLeher has touched different aspects of Dhingana in terms of it’s features and mainly the 360Widget. Here are some inspiring extracts from this coverage:

“Dhingana is a refreshing change in this space and with their simple interface and rich features that promote stickiness and viral spread, I think they are moving in the right direction.”

This is what they had to say about our new 360Widget:

“This is one viral feature, which if takes off can go a long way in making their brand a common place and eventually help make Dhingana a destination site for all Indian music needs”

You can read the complete post here..

During our talk with iLeher we answered some really interesting questions related to the operation and features of 360Widget, the marketing model for widgets, the bandwidth burst this might entail, why users would love to use this widget and who can use it and why?

Finally, we had some really interesting conversation with the readers of iLeher. So don’t miss the comments section here.

Thank you Madhur for covering Dhingana and our new 360Widget.
