Control your privacy - new mDing settings added!

As more and more users are registering with us, we are getting good amount of feedback from users on what kind of control they would like to have on their profile pages, mDings settings and song history. For the past couple of weeks we were working hard on adding such features around privacy. Here is a quick dive into the world of privacy on Dhingana.com:

To modify/update your privacy settings click ‘My Settings’ sub tab under the ‘Me’ tab and than click on ‘privacy’ link as shown by the red circle below or you can click here

Privacy Tab

There are 3 different types of privacy settings currently available:
1. Who can see my profile:
- Everybody: every registered user can see your complete profile (your details, song, album, smartlist history etc)
- Only Friends : only users in your friend list can see your complete profile
- Nobody: no one can see your complete profile. In this case, only a limited profile with your name and location is shown to the visiting user. If the user wants, he/she can send you a friend request to become your friend

2. Who can see my mDings:
3. Who can send me mDings:
The options under these two categories are quite self explanatory :) At times some users prefer to receive mDings only from their trusted friends or from no one at all. Some users want to make sure that only their friends can see their mDings.

Privacy Settings

We sincerely hope these three privacy settings will help in maintaining a good eco-friendly musical environment :) Have fun!
