Description:K. J. Yesudas was born on 10 Jan 19 40 in Fort Kochi, Kingdom of Cochin, India into a Latin Rite Catholic family, to Augustine Joseph and Alicekutty. His father, who was a well-known Malayalam classical musician and stage actor, was his first guru. . Although he is a Carnatic Music expert, he mastered Hindustani Music as well.Yesudas began his career in playback singing in the Malayalam movie Kaalpadukal and Kollywood movies in the early '60s . he entered Bollywood by 70s.The first Hindi song was for the movie 'Chhoti Si Baat'. He has bagged seven National Film Awards for the best singer in the Indian film industry . In 2006, he sang 16 film songs in four South Indian languages on the same day at AVM Studio, Chennai. Description:Atif Aslam was born in 1983 in Wazirabad, Pakistan. He used to sing at the college canteen when his friends urged him to participate in the singing competition on Independence Day celebrations at PAF College Lahore in 1998. He performed there and won the competition. Thereafter, he also won several other college competitions.He met Goher- a guitarist who became his future Jal band-mate, at his college. Together they practiced and started doing mini-concerts for their friends. Aslam used to perform on the songs of Junoon and Strings at these concerts. They started performing in their college, McDonalds, Uncle Bubba's Rabba Dabba and other restaurants. Thus began the original line up of Jal. After leaving Jal due to personal differences, Aslam released his first solo album, Jal Pari on 19 July 2004, under Sound Master and IC records. Description:Friends Kishor kumar was truly a multi talented personality. He produced, directed, and acted in the film Jhumroo (1961). He wrote the lyrics for the title song, Main Hoon Jhumroo, and composed music for all the songs in the film. Later, he produced and directed the serious film Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Mein (1964). He also wrote the script and composed music for the film. The movie achieved critical success, which perhaps motivated him to make another two films called Door Ka Rahi (1971) and Door Waadiyon Mein Kahin (1980).Kishore Kumar stopped singing for Amitabh Bachchan in the mid-1980s, after Bachchan did not do a guest appearance in a film produced by him but called a truce with him by singing for him in Toofan.
