Police have recovered the bodies of 3 local labourers brutally killed allegedly by Naxals near the Khushboni jungles in West Bengal's West Midnapore district. Maoist posters claiming responsibiltiy for the killings say they were killed as they were dacoits - however, police suspect the labourers were punished for being tacit informers. The killings come even as West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is scheduled to make his annual visit to this district to oversee developmental and infrastructural work which has been undertaken there in recent times.
